I just bought a Asus P5W DH Deluxe and I am having some problems with my WIFI-AP SOLO. So I have it on 802.11G/B and it always changes my speed to 11 Mbps and I want it to stay at 54 Mbps. Any ideas?

Is the signal strength excellent or good? It drops to a lower speed when you have a bad signal. BTW 11Mbps is still fast when on the internet.

Excellent all the time

Edit: This computer is for gaming so that is not that fast for gaming. And I did have a wireless card that had g on it and it didnt not change speed at anytime on me.

Which router do you have? You are dropping from G to B thus running at 11Mbps. If you do have a G router only enable g, and try another channel.

Probably not it, but be sure you're not simply picking up some other wifi signal... Also, my laptop's wifi acts up in a similar mannor when I use window's wifi manager. It works much better when I use this other software made specifically for my card. Try doing that with yours, or using the windows wifi manager if you are using something else.
