This is an odd issue I've been having for the past few weeks. Don't remember when exactly it happened, but whenever I turn on my desktop from being off completely the WiFi will not work. In my system tray I have the icon for internet and it just acts like there is no wireless adapter and thus no signals to see. Click on this icon will immediately kick it to life, it will pop up that there's a few signals around and then connect me to my home network. After that it works fine. I'll leave my computer on for 10 mins sometimes after booting it before even using it and it still won't have connected. Everytime though, clicking on the system tray icon and it will connect immediately.
Drivers have been reinstalled numerous times and with different versions.
Router has been reset several times. No change. Rest of the house is fine, same adapter works on my laptop with no similar issue. I don't know what gives. It's more of just an annoyance as a few of my startup programs want internet access and then grumble at not having a connection. Any ideas? All my other USB devices work fine on boot and using a different port makes no difference either.
