Is there anyone that can tell me if I can in any way see where someone has gone using my home wifi when they have visited me. It is imperative that I can find out if they connected to another country on a specific weekend they were here. This would of been done by them connecting to my wifi on their phone.

Laymans terms would be helpful as I am not very techno minded.

No, just because they connected to your home network doesn't mean you can see where they went after leaving your network. You'd need some sort of MDM software to see that level of detail.

Why does it matter?

As per Geoff you'd need some extra equipment/software. Some consumer routers keep small URL logs but that's about the extent of the capabilities you can expect from consumer grade gear.

Thank you for your replies. Would it be possible if I were to get a professional or someone who knew what they were doing to help?
The data is already gone.
Hey @beers they think you're not a professional.

Haha I really didn't mean it like that.......I meant could I pay someone to physically come to my place with necessary extra equipment/software etc., to be able to do it. Sorry Beers :(

I understand now that it will be impossible to retrieve this information though.

No, because you have no ownership of the devices you want to track. All you have is their MAC address at most, which on the vast majority of networks are not visible from the outside. You would need some sort of management software on those devices to track what networks they are connected to.
