Hello,
I want to plug a Wii Mini in a computer monitor but I have only a VGA and DVI input on it. I found some solutions:
- TV cards with RCA capability (but expensive and said to have an awful delay)
- Cables VGA to RCA (cheap but it is a lot of cables (need a splitter 3.5mm to RCA for sound) and, is the quality good?)
- The VGA to AV cable, for Wii and PS3 (less cables than VGA to RCA and simpler, but it is compatible for both Wii and Wii Mini?)
- Adapters VGA to RCA, box like (expensive as the Wii console itself)
- Video capture by USB, you know like the famous EasyCap. (Cheap, but is playing in real time possible and immediate? With no delay? Since those devices are for USB 2.0 and not 3.0, I doubt that there is no delay. Plus they seem to have a lot of compatibility issues with Win8+)
So now I checked them all and I still don't know what I should buy but I think the VGA to AV is the best option, as long as this AV plug works with both Wii and Wii Mini. I would like to hear from people that know how reliable are those solutions and which would be the best.
Thank you.
