Will 6790 bottleneck this CPU?

What do you mean by bottle neck? We need to know in what application/modality you are referring too. I can tell you that I built a machine with a HIS Radeon HD 6790 with a Phenom II x4 955 BE and didn't have any problem playing most games on max. I was able to play BF3 just under ultra, but I upgraded to my current system because a friend bought my computer. If you are looking to game, I would suggest you spend an extra $30 and get a 6850 well worth the minor amount of extra cash.

Thanks. I mean is it fine? Will the Processor be fine wont 6790?

It seems so by what you said. I will think again to get 6790 or 6850.
 
They will be fine together, also if you game at 1080, there wont be a bottleneck at all...unles syou count like hdd's etc.

I agree with what the user bvefore me said, spend extra and get the 6850, they are belting cards for the prices.
