Will a 160 GB HDD work in my laptop?

I have a Toshiba M35-S456 notebook with a 80 GB HDD. I could really use some additional drive space and am looking at the Seagate 160 GB drive, but have concerns about its compatability with my notebook. I contacted Toshiba tech support, but they were of little help.

Does anyone happen to know if a 160 GB HDD will work in this notebook?

TIA.

it looks fine, make sure your current one isn't a sata laptop drive though and beyond that, as long as you have XP SP1 you'll see the whole drive but something older will cut off at 137GB, think that's about it

careful- it's a Seagate drive. I had a portable drive for less than a year before it broke, and the things they say that are good about their drives are total lies. I think I can feel safe knowing that there isn't much out there wil 5,000 (yes, five thousand) G shock resistance.
