i had 1 gig ram p4 3 GHz (i say had cause i returned it today cause the chipset was supposed to have a pci express, but it dint, and tehy took it back (they had riped me off in a way...))

and the choices to put in are the geforce 6600 and the radeon one.....

256MB DDR ATI Radeon RV370XT
God no, thats a worse card commonly known as X550 which is just an overclocked X300 really

Any 128Mb card or higher will run BF2.

1. Did you mean GDDR3?

2. Doesn't only the 6800GT and up suport it? (for nvidia)

1. Did you mean GDDR3?
Yeah well since there is only DDR3 for video cards at the moment

2. Doesn't only the 6800GT and up suport it? (for nvidia)
No. There are 6800NUs (and maybe 6800LEs but not sure) with GDDR3

Ok so all GT models come with GDD3 memory? Kewl.
Is it alot better than regular DDR?
1. No. Not all 6800GTs have GDDR3. Counterexample
2. The only difference with GDDR3 to GDDR is that GDDR3 will clock higher so really it will only matter if you intend to look at OCing the videocard
