Correct. Cousin of mine has a Dell (shudder) with a Pentium 4 2.4 and 512MB of RAM. He has a 128MB Radeon 9500 Pro and he says the game plays pretty good.
 
No not corect, the whole GeForce 4 line isnt suported, the 9500 is the minimum that will run BF2.

Kinda reminds me of a guy who got HL2 to run on integrated graphics but "The pulse gun looks wierd and the windows turn into white lines and sometimes the floor disapears" :P

you should be able to put the textures on high :) (at least, my fx5200 runs it still smoothly then) and that really makes it look better :)

Sorry, I forgot BF2 is a DX9 only game.

ANY 128MB card thats DX9 capable will play the game. Older series like the Radeon 8x00 series and GF4 series will not play the game.
