will a 580 triple fan nuke my shiny new PSU?

Quick and stupid question.
Galaxy GTX580 triple fan. My PSU has enough watts to run it, right?
I'd hate to kill it.

It has enough to run two easily and still have huge overhead. A system with a single 580 isn't going to be pulling anywhere near 750W, ever

750W is more than enough for one 580. As Aastii said above you could even run two if you wanted on that PSU and still be good.
