Will a 8800GT be wasted on this?

I'm know extremely little about computers, but I'm in the market for one. I'm thinking of buying a PC with Intel dual core E2200 (2.2ghz), with 4 gb ram, onboard graphics, and a 22" monitor. But I want to install a 8800GT 512mb 256-bit GDDR3 in it. Will it be wasted? If so what would be a better alternative? a Inno3D 8800GTS 320MB DDR3? Your answer is much appreciated.

i dont fink u can waste a 8800GT, it might be the outstanding component in your computer. that doesnt mean its wasted u can always use it for ur next comp and after and after that :D

yeah depending on what games you play it should be great... it runs everything except crysis on max.

well not EVERYTHING with that processor, games like world in conflict will be just out of your reach for highest settings, i can barely get them with my processor...

Nah, the E2200 should overclock to around 3.2 which would be plenty to max WIC.

And yes, 8800GT is a great deal right now, but so are others. It really depends on how much you want to spend.
