It can't be jsut any PSU. A low qulaity PSU with poor wattage or inadequate rail Amps may cause system instability etc. Certainly get a well known brand PSU. I would go for a 500W. Read Praetor's PSU 101 http://www.computerforum.com/showthread.php?t=10764. You will learn a lot more from that and your question should be well answered.

A bit too broad... consider this or this. Neither is unheard of but neither is spectacular (with the latter being dismal)

To give you an idea of the wattage: a single 6800GT uses about 65 W and an Ultra uses 77 W whereas a single ATI 9500/9600 series uses 40 W and a FX5900 uses 45 W.

GET THE PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool® 510 SLI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is the best power supply out for sli and one of the only ones approved by nvidia

Actually its not. The PC P&P 850 is better .. and there are quite a few PSUs with the nVIdia approval now.
