Will AS5 void Newegg warranty?

Hey guys. I have a 6600GT from Newegg that isnt working, and I was just wondering if I return it for a replacement, is the warranty voided if I have Arctic Silver 5 on the GPU? Do they check that? That would be stupid if they dont take it...

I think that it would be voided since you physically changed things with it. Unless it looks exactly the same, then they might not check.

It looks the same, I took off the fan, put on AS5, and put it back on, it looks the exact same. You guys put AS5 on your GPU, right?

is there any stickers you ripped that says "void if removed"? If so, then the warranty is def gone.

And no, i actually havn't used AS5, but i mite soon, got some lying around.

No, there was no sticker or anything. It is honestly impossible to tell it was taken off...I just dont get why it would void the warranty. I really hope they dont look....
