Will Battlefield 2 run on my laptop?

Is this a sufficient laptop for bf2 and other games?

dell inspiron 9300
2ghz pentium m
100gb hard drive
1gb memory
256mb nvidia geforce go 6800

if so, how long would a 6 cell batt. last while gaming? thnx.
 
looks like those specs meet the requirements. I wouldnt expect the battery to last much more than an hour while playing that game.
 
I thought bf2 was not compatible with laptop video card drivers. Did a patch change that? I could be wrong.
 
theres a site that will scan your computer and tell you if it has sufficient power to play that game. and what parts the game maker recomends. any one no what it is?
 
hey, just brought BF2, try to run it and the screens goes black then goes back to the desktop.. i dont know what drivers to update though??
 
it is the drivers problem, the exact same thing happened to me. Just go to nvidia.com and download the latest drivers. You could also go to omegadrivers.com or something like that. But that is most likely the problem.

either nobody uses this program or people with 5000 dollar rigs dont use it as they will know it will run any game :D
