Will Blu-Ray give full HD on an external monitor?

If a laptop does not have full HD, for example, it has only 1366 x 768 resolution, will the Blu-Ray player still produce full 1080p HD on a HD-compatible external monitor or does it depend on the graphics card installed in the laptop?

What about all the non-Blu-Ray graphics? Will these be full HD on the external monitor or again, is it up to which graphics card is installed?

Is it only the laptop screen which determines the laptop resolution, is it only the card, or is it both the screen and the card?

It is a question of screen resolution and the gpu if you get full HD.To see what your gpu is capable of just google it and obviously you need a full HD screen.

it is both the screen and the card. You will need a full HD external monitor and a card capable of displaying full HD.
