was wondering i want to get cod4 for pc but i only have 744mb of ram and i have a PowerColor HD4350 graphics card wich would work but mines not a normal one its just a PCI card not a PCI-E card =D coz my motherboard doesnt have a pci-e slot :mad: so any help pleeeeaaassseeee!!!!

hmm what decent online games would u say are good that would run and also what upgrades could i do to it until i get a new pc and another question lol what is a cheap decent pc i could get not to bothered about ram or graphics coz those are easily changed

Well, the only issue with your computer is that your ram is so low, i mean, your video card will play it, but you should have at least 1 gig of ram if you going to game lightly.

EDIT: Upgrade to 2gigs of ram.

he says he doesn't have a PCIe slot to use the card, even if he did a 4350 really wouldn't cut it for cod4. not to mention he didn't even tell us what kind of CPU he's got.

if you're looking for a game that is not demanding, in terms of system resources, check out counter-strike 1.6. it'll run on just about anything, and is a lot of fun.

^yah, i know, he has the pci version of the card, it would still be able to play @ 800/600 on low.

Yah the cpu does have a parting in it, seeing that he only has lil over 700mb or ram, hes prob. got an old p4 under 2ghz or something. So yah, it wouldnt be playable then.

belarc says my processor is actualy 3.06GHz :O
and yeah the graphics card is a pci version and could someone else check out my other post coz im thinking of building my own pc

oh and i have cs 1.6 already and counster strike source runs perfectly on highest posible settings at 80-180 fps =D so thats why i thought it would be able to run cod4 on low

no, css is a LOT less demanding than cod4.

i'll take a look at your other thread, building is without a doubt the way to go.

“Required (min) Specs”

* CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.4 GHz or AMD(R) Athlon(TM) 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better supported
* RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card (generic): NVIDIA(R) Geforce(TM) 6600 or better or ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or better

“Recommended Specs”

* CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended
* RAM: 1GB for XP; 2GB for Vista is recommended
* Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
* Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better

it will run it. just not maxed out. go for it

my onboard 8400 chip played it fine with a dual core on a 17" screen when i sold my card. its NOT a tough game to play, and its NOT that much more demanding than css

You should just about be able to play it, obviously as has been said not on full, but in my old CoD4 clan there were a couple with lower specs than you that played no problems

my graphics card has shader model 4.1 and direct x 10.1 aswell and its 512mb ddr2

i'm not following this thread at all. i thought you said your pc didn't have a PCIe slot, so you couldn't use the card...

EDIT: ok, now i see that you have the PCI version of the card. you may be able to play then with everything at the lowest possible settings. it's going to look like total shit though..

just played the demo of it i didnt even think of that haha
but i get about 15fps minimum on realy crowded look of the map and up to 120fps on a very smooth textures this is on lowest settings so ima buy it and then i will get a new motherboard could any1 please help me find one?
prefebly on ebuyer because i ordered from them before and i like them =] im not sure if all motherboard would work with my PSU my DVD+R and processor and things? if u need any informtation reply
