Will Counter strike:Source play on my comp?

Hey all,

Will Counter strike:Source play on my computer without lag or is this a definate no no with my graphics?

Heres what i think the minimum specs are for the game? They seem a little low requirements for what ive seen of the game:confused: -

Min System Requirements:
Intel Penitum® 233 or AMD K6-2
32 MB RAM
400 MB HD Space
2x CD ROM Drive
SVGA, high-color (16-bit)
Win-compatible Soundcard
32-bit Internet service provider with 28.8+ modem or LAN

My comp exeeds all those requirements as you can see my specs in siggy.
 
If you reduce the quality it should be fine. I can play gta san andreas with my current comp (not the one in my siggy- still not functional due to DOA mobo) and it has integrated graphics. all i have to do is lower the quality, and it's fine.
 
I think CSS automatically adjusts your game to suit your hardware, you could also look on Google for a custom made config which will give you higher FPS and lower graphics settings.

Nooo, thats the minimum requirements for the original counter strike, this is for source:
1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP/ME/98, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

I highly doubt you could play it. Maybe on DX7 mode, on the lowest settings possible and at 800x600, but not on anything that would be considered a good gameplay enviornment.

I need a new computer then as it wouldnt be practical upgrading.:(
