Will crossfire work on SLI motherboard?

I have an ASUS P54SLI motherboard with 2 pci express x16 and 1 X1950XTX. Can i add another XTX without upgrading motherboards? Do I have to have an ATI chipset to run crossfire?

I wouldnt think so. It should run crossfire just fine. ASUS boards are really great.

i'm not finding a single thing on that model board. are you sure you typed it correctly? if the board is sli, then crossfire won't work. it has to be a crossfire board.
