Will I be able to return this?

Hey, I just got a new HSF (Thermaltake Big Typhoon) and it brought my temps up. I was wodnering if you think I will be able to return it to newegg.com? I already installed it, and some of the things used to install cant be reused (sticky foam pads). Do you think I will be able to return it to newegg?

I doubt that they'll take it back. Since there isn't any "faults" in it and you have applied thermal paste to it.

Well it wouldn't hurt to call them up. They should know their return policy better than us. If they do take it back, hopefully they won't charge you a restocking fee... which is pretty common nowadays.

I am not sure of US consumer laws but here, we can return goods within two weeks without any reason at all. However, I personally had to pay a re-stocking fee of 10% of the original price.
