Will I be able to run Blu-ray with these specs?

Im getting a new laptop in June and was looking for something that will be able to run Blu-ray with external. So can you guys help out and tell me if one of these two machines will be able to work? Thanks!

1280x800 is the screen resolution.

Well as long as you can find a drive, then you could run blue ray on a PIII. Those will be fine.

You would probably want a better resolution for a Blu-Ray disc.
