Will I be pushing the limits of my power supply??

I just ordered an E8400 and a EVGA 750i FTW. They are replacing a E6550 and a 650i mobo. I have a Cooler Master 500w PS. I am wondering if I will be close to overloading this PS. I will be overclocking

the rest of the components are:

9800GTX
1 sata HD
2 case fans+ freezer 7 pro+ HD fan
1 sata optical
4g ram
Also a fan controller in the future with a car reader + more fans possibly

I am seriously considering a new dependable PS now that I have purchased a bunch of nice components. I don't want to take any risks with ruining anything, in my last computer the PS blew and went up in smoke and f'ed up my mobo.

Ehhh, it's somewhat close, as you never want to hit 100% utilization. GFX card is around 225W peak if memory serves, CPU is 65W TDP and can go up to 75W peak give or take, each DDR-2 RAM stick is around 7W. Each drive (Be it HDD or optical) averages 20W, each fan around 4W, fan controllers or card readers around 20W a piece to be on the safe side

My estimates are usually high, but those are for peak wattages for each component

Is it the Toughpower PSUs or the Real Power Pros? I know that the Toughpowers are usually overated. If it's that case, you'd be cutting it close. However, any other quality 500 watt units should do just fine.
