I asked for help with upgrading my video card and someone gave me the link to this item

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-na&AID=10521304&PID=4169961&SID=xkrc6h8zhw2q

but im wondering if it will fit in my computer with the amount of space, heres a link to my computer specs

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=5049534#N551

the reason im asking is because im in a situation where if the card cant fit im gonna have to sel the computer and build one which will take awhile and id like to be ready for the old republic in december. Id really like to play the game on at least high settings with great frames.

I hope you don't plan on using the psu that came with the computer, because it won't run it. And as far as the card fitting inside the case, I highly doubt it will, all depends on how much room you have. Can you open the side of the case and take a picture of it and post it?

You will need at least 9.5 inches from the back of the case to the front of the card. What 550 watt power supply are you gonna use?

i messed up buying this desktop i feel cuz i went to bestbuy and asked for something for gaming and they gave me this and i thought it would be okay but obviously not lol. I had a buddy look at it recently and he said ill be lucky to play the old republic on good settings even with a better graphics card

Sorry, I can't see the numbers clearly, how much space is there? Do you have 9.5 inches?

I really think you will be pushing it as the pci express power connectors must be attached to the end of the card as well adding another inch for good measures. What kind of games do you play or would you like to play?

well the carde is like 4.39x9 so length wise it should fit, now you might want to check on the width side of things.

im really just looking for a great gameplay on star wars when it comes out, id like to run 60+ frames and have a great overall gameplay experience. that is the only game ill be playing. i used tio play wowo on the machine at low settings and id only get 30 frames.
