Will it stay cool?

Im running a AMD Athlon x2 6400+ and it idles at around 52C. Stock CPU Fan, One stock case fan, Stock thermal compound. I plan on buying the Arctic Freezer 64 Pro, or the Zalman 9700. I hear the AC Freezer performs really well even though the Zalman is almost twice the price and would naturally much rather that. I plan on buying Arctic Silver 5 as my new thermal compound, and also getting one more case fan (Here)

I basically have 2 questions:

1. Will the CPU fan be good enough?

2. How much of a difference will i notice in temperatures with all this installed?

Thank you for the info on the Thermal compound, i will keep that in mind. I was planning on getting the AC Freezer 7 Pro but i thought it was only compatable with Intel socket 775, will it work on my AMD 6400+?

EDIT: I also figured that the 7 Pro was for Intel while the 64 Pro was for AMD, am i mistaken?

The AMD version of the arctic 7 is the freezer pro 64.

The arctic 7 is for Intel only.

I have used the freezer pro on a couple of different systems, it worked great. But if you are going to do some serious overclocking, get the zalmann.
