Will it work?

My mobo is an old Biostar 939 Tforce4 Sli, the website no longer updates it and I am thinking about getting windows7.

Question is:
Will it run?
If not, is there another way?
or do I just gonna have to stick with Xp.

I don't see any reason it wouldn't run. If you can't find drivers from Biostar's website, just look around for chipset manufacturers (it's probably nVidia's nforce4) Though even if they don't have Windows 7 drivers, I feel certain basic pre-loaded ones would work fine.
 
If you're really worried, I could try running it on my old Athlon X2 (old 939/nforce4 board). I'm thinking I had loaded it on there a little while ago, but it's hard to recall since it was never "for good", just doing tests and such.
 
I cant think of any reasons it wouldnt either,My old socket A Hp system was able to run windows 7 just fine and socket A is ancient. :P

7 also for some strange reason...run better on it than Xp did lol.
 
Huh... I had 7 on a Turion laptop (actually that one I just sold) and honestly it did pretty poorly in my opinion. Though I also felt the beta copy I had on my old Dell was more stable than the recent copies I've tried :P
