Will My Build Work?

I'm trying to build my first computer, woo-hoo, and I think I have all the parts I need but I need some advice. I think all these parts will be compatible but I would like to be sure. Here's my build.

Case: http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=023781&cid=CS.664

Motherboard/Processor: http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=021083&cid=MB

Hard Drive: http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=021509&cid=HD.443.877

Memory: http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=017473&cid=RAM.939

CD/DVD Drive: LG (GDR-H30N) 16X DVD-ROM Drive, Black, OEM (that can't not work can it :P)

Power Supply: ATX 500w, some no name brand, Switching Power Supply

The guide i'm reading says something about a heatsink, will I need that? I have a spare video card that should work. I didnt post links for the last two because CD/DVD drive should work on anything, and I already have the power supply and can't find specs. If i've done anything wrong or need extra components please tell me. Thanks.

Why are you going with an atom based board.... those things are slower than heck. Also, dont get a no name psu. Go for something like this for cpu+mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103300
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128342

or if you want better mobo with better integrated graphics:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157154

And a decent psu:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341020
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371006 ($10 off with coupon code on page)

Could you post links to the stuff ur gettin perhaps?

Alright ill post links. I am forced to stick with the PSU I have now because I just bought it a few days ago for the computer I have now lol. Ill look for a different motherboard but then ill have to change everything so its compatible :P, when you say slower than heck, I'm not sure what that means because my computer now is extremely slow, anything would be an improvement. It takes about 5 minutes to boot up :P.

What about this as a motherboard: http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=023292&cid=MB.486

Atom is a low power consumption cpu made for web browsing and... thats about it. Where did you buy the psu from? I would return it if its a cheap noname psu...
