Will my build work?

Hi, I am making my first build and I just want to make sure if it is going to work. I don't know about the power supply since it's cheap.

-MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

-AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor

-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory

looks pretty good...what the total price of build? also newegg has g.skill 2x4gb ddr3,1600 for $75(if yu use thr $25 discount.) good luck :)
 
Okay thanks for the reply. One quick question what OS would be compatible windows xp or windows 7 , or would both work? I'm using this computer for low end gaming. (counter strike and some other source engine games)

Both would work but but XP's support ends next year. You are better off going with windows 7

Edit, It seems I was wrong, support end date for XP SP3 is in 2014. But still go with windows 7

Yes. Go with 7...its newer, has less compatibility with newer hardware than XP..although ive used XP for years and its been great. :)
