Will my hard drive and Digicam survive airport xrays.

Hey am going abroad and am worried about the airport xray machine wrecking my removeable hard drive that is in my hand luggage.

Does the xray machine destroy the data on thehard drive, or would I be able to declare it at security, it does look dodgy its just a grey box with a few sockets in the back.

Anyone else have experience wit this kinda thing.

PS will my digital camera survive as well.
 
i have taken xbox's gamecubes, ps2's, laptops and digital cameras through airport xray machines, it has never done anything to any of them. about the shape, they might just want to check this out, its routine with most laptops anyway.
