Motherboard and CPU are not the best match, but they will work. You really want a P8Z77-V or above or a UD3H or above at the least with an overclocking processor.

Case is old, and outdated. No cable management at all. look for the 302 or the like.
 
It works. However -
Better board for the same $. Run dual channel memory. The memory w/that Asus is ok and that's about it. It's hieght will interfere with an air cooler, plus it takes another $50 for a second stick of an unmatched kit and you still have 10 latency. Go for at least 9 and 1866 might cost the same.

M003 for $5 more and this case's features are well rounded. You can save this bit of extra cost by getting a nice Samsung burner for 18 shipped. If you want bling it can anytime be added to any case.

I usually suggest Seasonic M12II 620w for a build like this, or Corasir TX650 costs the same and so does Seasonic 550w G series Gold w/ nice cables. XFX 550Pro is on sale right now. PS sales aren't showing up too often or atm so beyond those costs a bit more.
