Will the Memory work with my existing spec?

My friend gave me a Samsung 2gb PC2-6400u-666-12-E3 stick, at least thats what it reads on the side,

I already have 3gbs of different type of memory and i know my XP OS wont read 5 gb if i do install it, But i plan to get Win 7 64bit when it is released.

Will this work with my Mobo for now?

should i even put it in there? (if it does fit)


EDIT: this came off an HP intel Core 2 computer
 
Ok thanks, i was thinking the same thing. Maybe i'll remove 1gb and install the 2gb so i have 4gb. and maybe get 3. something of the memory to work.
