Will the Sims2 game play on Windows7

My GF wants me to buy it, and if it can play on Windows 7 i will.

I have a gaming PC and plays Starcraft on full settings so im not afraid ab games loading.

But i know SIms was for XP and vista, so will it play on windows 7?
 
yes as long as the laptop/pc is up to spec (meets the game requirements)

and it wouldn't hurt to run CCleaner and Auslogics Disk Defrag to speed everything up.

I believe my computer is just fine lol i built it a week ago, meat for playing the newest games lol.

i was just worried it would not play older games like that.

that website doesn't really work especially well. It basically takes requirement information that you can find on the games websites and then roughly compares it to your own hardware.

It said I could handle Crysis Warhead perfectly but apparently I barely passed the minimum for battlefield bad company 2... Work that one out ;):good:
 
The Sims 2 and its EPs have been tested with Windows 7 and you should be able to run them using that OS but they are not officially supported for use with Windows 7. Sims 2 works for me with all service packs.
