Will these 2 cards work with crossfire?

Why are you using two different brands for crossfire? They should work provided that they are both crossfire editions, but I would stick with a crossfire rig that consists of two identical cards, that could save me headache later down the track.

well i know that for crossfire you need one card that is crossfire edition and one that is crossfire ready for it to work. im just not sure if these 2 would work.

yea i already have the motherboard its and at8 32x. im just trying to find a card that will let me go into crossfire with my radeon x1900 gt

I think you have to use an older generation of Crossfire, because my friend's X1950 pro had "gold fingers" just like a sli card.
I think you have to get a crossfire edition to work as the master and then your card as the slave, I think that's how it goes when crossfire first came out.

yeah, you just look for that little tab where the connector goes. The newer Crossfire uses a system similiar to Sli, then connection between the cards are internal, so there isn't a chunky cable on the outside like older style crossfire rigs.

dude, very bad idea

just get two x1950 pros, get the from ncix/directcanada.

they perform better and dont require the outside dongle and a master card

u just need 2 crossfire versions use a sli-type bridge and thats it.

if u already have a 1900 gt, just sell it for what you can and get a 8800 gtx
