Slightly over-budget but I didn't factor in rebates. Some of the parts have them.

Why is this system better? The CPU is faster because it has L3 cache, the motherboard is compatible with AMD's new Zambezi processors due to come it soon. The RAM is 1600MHz and will run in dual channel. The graphics card is a newer generation and has a little extra performance. The powersupply is a quality one and won't die and take parts with it like a rosewill. The case is much higher quality (I have one myself) and looks very nice. The monitor is 1920x1080 instead of 1336x768. All the parts are of much better quality and are about the same price.
