Will these run together?

I have finely bought this ram but for some reason its like its not letting my PC boot up all the way. The PC starts up everything seems to be running and ill let it sit for a little bit but the monitor does not get a signal. the key board and mouse does not turn on ether. I have made sure there installed correctly (I believe so anyway) according to my mother board manual. my mother board is an ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G

Have you tried just the new memory. If it works I would just use the new. Adding the 1gb. sticks will throw it out of dual channel.
 
Yes iv'e tried just using just the new ram. I read somewhere that AMD Motherboards do not like 1600 ram. but that's what I have now, so idk.

It does the same thing as above. I wish I could get in the bios and see what its doing.
 
That did not work ether. I tried them one at a time and with a new one and an old one, still did not work.

Could it involve something with my video card?
its an ATI 5670 redwood 512mb.

I fixed it! all I had to to was update the bios to the latest one for my Motherboard to support the 4gb sticks.
