i have that motherboard at my computer at home... yeah Im not sure if it will work because im seeing that power supply as 430 watts and I can not find the amps out... asus needs like 30 amps out at 3.3 v or something high... issue is with the p5nsli.. you have to flash your bios before it will actually work... maybe that have fixed this... but if you dont have a 2nd pc it could be a problem... if your going to throw a sick gpu in like you have... id update my cpu

If the RAM is 240-pin it should work that motherboard.

One change I would also make is to go with a power supply that supplies a little more power. Take a look at this Antec BP550 Plus 550 Watt Power Supply for $55:

All the other components look to me like they are compatible.

Just so you know, the MSI G31M3-F motherboard can support up to a maximum of 4 gigabytes of RAM. Here are the specifications of the motherboard you are looking at:

The MSI G31M3-F motherboard is a very basic model motherboard. How much are you paying for it?

I agree with Elimin8or. Get some good quality DDR2 800 240-pin RAM.

Recommended good brands of Random Access Memory:
Corsair
Crucial
G.Skill
Kingston
Mushkin
OCZ
Patriot
PNY
pqi
Super Talent

That mobo is pretty cheap... and since it's a lowish end build might I recommend going AMD? You could get the ASUS M3A78-CM for about $110 AUD (converted from USD price on Newegg) and an AMD 64 X2 5000+ ($86 AUD) or the 6000+ for $115 AUD if you want a bit more speed... either one should be better than a P4 though. :)

Irishwhistle is has a point. You might get a better performing proc if you get AMD since they are cheaper.

Who else ships to Australia? NewEgg doesn't ship there.
