Here's a better motherboard at a lower price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128017

That video card is terrible. PCI video cards should only be used on systems without AGP or PCI-E slots. Your system will have a PCI-E slot, any PCI-E video card would be better. If gaming is out, you could even consider a board with integrated graphics such as the Gigabyte 965G-DS3, to further reduce the price.

I'd grab this case with its included PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811190080

It'll further reduce the cost, and the PSU it comes with is better than the Apevia you've linked to (which, TBH, is rather crappy).

If the extreme calculator is giving you 420W, it's vastly overstating your needs. You'll be fine with that 400W.

Would prolly be a good idea to wait shortly for the rls of the 6320/6420 with the 4MB L2 ... and either pay the minor premium or get the 6300/6400 then :)

new things weill come out soon that will be better, they will be priced in between and possibly push down the price of the e6300 and e6400 of the C2D
