Will This Card Work With This Mobo?

from the looks of that it should, both AGP, but there is always a possibility that u get a fautly card :P , but u won't

Why are you buying AGP? The AGP version of that card is more expensive and slower. AGP is being phased out, and PCI-E mobos are getting inexpensive these days.

its becouse he doesn't want to upgrade his mobo yet, he already has it

believe me, i am fully aware of this. but i would have to get an entirely new system to go to pci-e because my processor is socket 754. granted, there are a few mobos that offer pci-e with 754, but getting one w/ a good pci-e gpu would be more expensive than this. so, until i fully upgrade again with a new system, im getting a good agp card.

one more quick question:

with the setup in my sig + another cd-rw, would my current 500 watts be enuff for the new card, or should i get a beefier psu?

hmm.... i thougth u had a 400W psu, the card you're getting doesnt need so much juice :D , so u should be fine, how much Ampers on the 12V rail(s)

Ah, my mistake. I thought you were buying the mobo and the card, then I got quite confused.

Sorry for the mix up :o

i did, but then my comp started to crap out, and the guy that built it diagnosed it as a weak psu, so i got a 500 watter, and i think for free too. i got it a long time ago, but i just updated the sig today.
