Heya, first time building my own computer from scratch and just checking to make sure all of the parts would work together and seeing your opinions on anything to make it better or worse. I would like to mainly use it for gaming

The power supply is junk. Stick with Antec/Seasonic/XFX/PC P&C/Corsair/Silverstone

You can probably get DDR3 1600 for pretty close to the same price.
 
Thanks :). I'll go for a better power supply, I chose that one originally as it was so cheap. If you don't mind me asking (I'm still new to this stuff :p)... What makes the other companies so good? Also, what is the difference between 1333 and 1600?
 
1.For gaming I would suggest going with a Phenom II 955.
2.Get an AM3+ motherboard which will be more futureproof and you will be able to upgrade to Zambezi.
