Will this build work?

(cpu) 1. AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2ghz black edition
(gpu) 2. Sapphire radeon hd 6870
(ram) 3. Crucial DDR3 1066MHz 4GB KIT, CL7,
dvd( burner\reader 4. Samsung DVD±RW burner, SH-S223C
(hard drive 5. [2x] Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB
(cases) 6. Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced Sort OR Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus Midi Tower(with no extra fans for now, plz tell if I should get more for any of the cases.)
(motherboard) 7. ASUS M4A87TD/USB3, Socket-AM3.
(PSU) 8. Corsair TX 650W PSU
(hard D. cable) 9. Serial ATA cable 50 cm vinklet-norwegian "angled"
(cpu coller) 10. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Kjøler(if the cpu cooler that comes with the cpu is bad.) kjøler = cooler

should i get msi gtx 470 instead?
and should i get windows 7 64bit and more ram?

Please tell me if these parts will work?

CPU is good, its overclockable to 3.9-4.0ghz if you want to go that way, the GPU well if you going single card and not plannin to crossfire, the benchmarks on the hd5870 are higher than the hd 6870, 8gb of ram is overkill, 4gb is really all you need, and go with a faster ram something like CL7, you PSU should be changed because Corsair is using cheaper internals on that model... might want to go with the Corsair HX, or AX line. Id go with the CM 690 II its the best bang for the buck budget tower out. Everthing else looks fine... other will chime in... Good luck on the build, keep us updated
