Yes it does matter good looking. The 940 is AM2+ what it needs is the 945 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cm_re=Phenom_II_X4_945-_-19-103-696-_-Product. Either that or get a AM2+ motherboard and DDR2 RAM which would probably cost the same or more, and give less performance.

Also as Fatal1tyXx said the PSU is junk. Like Fatback said, you need to change your Processor to a AM3. Plus none of the sound cards in your link or others are any better then the boards onboard sound, really the onboard is better, waste of money. And Apevia power supplies are junk!
