I found this on ebay.

I currently have Intel core 2 duo P7350. Same 1066MHZ, same socket p (478). From my understanding this is all I need. The multiplier is different. Mine says 7.5 and this one is 11.5.

I want to upgrade my baby and bring some more life back into it. Now I can pick this up for 65 bucks with shipping. Other sellers are selling it for about 150 and the T9900 sells for about 250. Am I getting a good deal, and is this a good processor. Can I overclock it, or since it's so cheap should i baby it and leave it the way it is.

Btw, the laptop im upgrading is the ASUS G51VX (bestbuy model). G60VX is the motherboard.

I want my laptop to be able to run the latest games for the next 2 years at least. I posted another thread on my overclocking with my P7350, but if I can get another ghz for that price I think its worth it. Any thoughts?

I can't find anything on the bios relating to that. Its an ami bios v 205. I got the updated driver from asus, but no documentation. I've been having a heck of a time finding anything bios related about my pc.

it looks plausable it would work from the articles im reading online...worth a shot...just be careful about the TIM, overclocking is generally a bad idea in a laptop, if anything id see if you can undervolt it and get it to run cooler...
