All day i been trying to wipe out all data to restore pc. the partition thing is confusing and for some reason not working, i go to disc manager but the message thing when you enter it never pops up. the format option is faded meaning i cant click on it and my c drive is a dynamic right now instead of basic. When i go to install OS and it says custom and i click on it, i dont get any option to format or delete hard drive.

Im really worried about keylog thing and potential other spyware and dont have money to buy a program to deal with it.

So i was wondering, their a program thats called MiniTool Partition Wizard Professional Edition, if i reformat my c drive on their it says my pc may be unbootable. If it becomes unbootable would putting my os disc (windows 7, not the upgrade, the one used for costom made comp or w/e) in make the comp work again and be good as new?

if you format the drive it will be unbootable because it will destroy all data on it. You will need to reinstall after doing that.

Just be sure that you format in NTFS not EXT2/3/4 or FAT

I dont know how you can format a hdd with a program, but, no it will not destroy your pc.It is just saying after you format the drive, you wont be able to boot into a operating system like windowsm

anyone have a super easy way i can make my computer have a clean reset? =/ no viruses, no spyware, no nothing bad, like brand new again

do you have the Windows disk?

i have the windows 7 home premium disc "intended with distribution with new pc"

i replaced my windows 7 with a copy of itself but learned that doesnt delete some things in the C, so that didnt work to eliminate all possible virus/spyware =/

okay, assuming that you have the license # to go with it, that is what you need. Along with DBAN.

Take out any drives that you do not want wiped. That includes flashkeys and data drives.
Boot to DBAN and when you get to the part where it asks for what to do, enter Autonuke. Let it run, it will take quite a while to run.

Then just boot to the windows disk and install.

that does not appear to be a standard install window. :/
Anyway, if you use Dban, it will show up as the only drive in there.

It looks like you are running the disc in windows instead of booting to the disc.

You need to set your boot order to cd/dvd first with the disc in the drive during boot up.

Is it over? Would all the viruses and spyware if any be gone? I used killdisk and killed c drive so pc autto black screen and would not boot. I rage button smash and it takes me to menu to boot from dvd/cd so i do and windows installs again on pc so pc alive again. The c is back to how it should be when i first built this pc

Do this: insert disk, shut down comp, click boot menu key, press key, and follow instructions. Win7 always defaults to ntfs.
