Hello

So i am now starting to study on PC's and stuff.

I was wondering about the fat GPU's and their ability to block other components on a MOBO

For instance, I was looking at this Mobo and this GPU

Now i am wondering, Do you think the GPU i provided will fit into this Mobo without blocking anything, Or hitting something and not even being able to fit at all?

i see some GPU's that are slim and others that are pretty big like this, And just concerns me if they are limited to certain Mobos or something like that. For instance, the Ram pins and the Gigabyte logo thing located behind the PCI-e x16 slot for that GPU concerns me and makes me think it will hit them and not be able to fit?

It would sit above the RAM clips, so if you had to change the RAM you'd have to pull the GPU out, but it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Voyagerfan99 is right. The GPU will fit, but it will block the first PCI slot, as well as the clips for the ram. Easy fix though, put ram in first. if it needs to be changed, u can use the clips on the other side of the ram slot and remove the ram that way. or just remove the videocard...but that looks a bit tight, espeically with a big heatsink, to get ur finger underneath, at least the PCI-E clip looks easy.

Try this video card though, its cheaper and out performs a GTS450 in Most if not all games.
