So, my new computer has two intake fans relatively close to each other.
The PSU fan and the CPU fan. If both were on wouldn't they both be fighting for air? My case does have ventilation, but i have not installed any other fans yet. I do have a nice 140mm Lian Li fan and 140mm grill lying around. I haven't got the RAM for this new system yet so i can't check any temps, but what do you guys think would happen if i put this fan on the left side of the case as an INTAKE fan? My dad seems to think this will do more bad than good. I don't see how that works...

here is the exact fan i bought:

Having more intake than exhaust is WAY better then having more exhaust than intake, if you have more exhaust air will be sucked in from any possible source leading to dust buildup and possibly higher temperatures

And having two intakes close to eachother wont be bad because they dont suck in -that- much air, and there's no limit to the amount of air that can be sucked in

That's what i thought.
I need to cut a hole in my case for the fan.... lol!
i've done the holes for the grill :)
