will it be better if i take a grapshic card from a very old computer(emachines 366is) to my emachines t2596 thats using intergred mother bored graphics?
 
well, usually, pretty much anything is better than intergrated graphics however, if its really old it may not be the case. What is the old graphics card and the integrated graphics called?
 
Id say get a cheap GPU (if your not gaming but I expect your not) and spend the rest on more ram
 
ye, but by the sounds of it he doesnt want to buy something, just put an old graphics card in a newer machine which has integrated graphics...
 
well the intergraded graphics are on my cheap biostar mobo( cost me about 65 bucks) and im not sure about the card all it says is 3D fx 100mhz lol.....
 
Try it out, Try them both, use the intergrated ones, see how it is.

Then try the card, and see which one is better.

Generally speaking the cards are better than intergrated computers.
 
Most integrated Graphics are overrated, like my DG965WH board is supposed to have Shader Model 3.0 and all of the add-ons. I go to play a game and it tells me to get a graphics card with a Shader Model. FALSE ADVERTISING! Yes, I had the right drivers, the X3000
