will this monitor accept 1080p over analog vga?

i want to make sure before i buy it to use on my xbox 360. im going to be using the vga cable on it until i get a new xbox 360 with a hdmi cable. will the xbox 360 go up to the highest resolution on it at 1080p with the vga cable? it has the option on my 360 now using the vga cables, but my monitor only goes up to 1440x900 and thats why i want to buy this monitor.

it should do, since the monitor supports 1920x1080, and i know on my old school CRT i've ran 2048x1536 via VGA cable before .. so i'm guessing it'll all be dependent on if your Xbox supports Full HD via VGA

You won't get 1080p out of a vga cable.

johnb35 is right the highest resolution vga supports is 1080i.
