Will This motherboard Accept a Phenom 8450 without Flashing?

As long as it has the F3 bios, dont know how you would find out. Would not think newegg would have any idea. If not, some boards will boot and just call it the wrong processor or unknown till you flash it. But then some boards will not boot at all. So it depends.
 
Do you know of any motherboard that you would not have to flash the BIOS on in order to use an AMD Phenom 8450 Toliman Triple-Core Processor with it?
 
Strangle-you beat me to the post-I was just checking that too-I have that motherboard-it came with the F3 bios btw-so you shouldn't have a problem
 
If you did not flash the BIOS, will it just run the CPU and detect it as an AMD Hammer processor?

Thats not true. One board might call one type of processor a Hammer if the bios has not been updated for it. But I,ve had boards call them all kind of names-the same processor but under a different ghz- to completely the wrong processor- unknown- to not even booting.

Plus that board is a AM2+ board so a Hammer processor is not even compatible with it, hammer would not even be listed in the bios programing to even call it that. So in general thats not true.
