Will this pc work?

You can be rolling in a GTX 1080 with a 2k budget.

I'll throw something together (based on some of your parts) within the next few hours.

I'd personally build something along the lines of this: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/hyp4qk

Why? It's on the LGA1151 socket which supports Skylake and according to recent leaks the next few generations of Intel processors.

I switched the GPU for a GTX 1070 (though RX 480's in CFX are more effective), because 2 GTX 970's at this point is plain stupid due to heat, power requirements, and performance. You could easily fit a GTX 1080 in.

Nicer PSU and a clear water-cooling focused case (also displays your components and LED fans quite nicely).

Swapped the Win10 for a OEM key for Kinguin (I've used it for a few builds, and it works fine).

Unless you need the storage space, I'd just get a single 2TB HDD, but I added an SSD because you'll love being able to boot your OS and programs super fast. You could even install a couple games to it.

I won't comment on peripherals because that's a personal choice, but +1 for Razer :p

ok thanks but yeah i chose the LGA1151 becuase no motherboard there were compatible with out a BIOS update but i don't no how and what that does or is for.

also i chose win10 because i don't know the old ones since i had windows 10 sicne it came out and forgot about win 7 or 8 n stuff XD

also that case you chose is bae

This should be a tempting option for you. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8h7q4C

If you go a bit lower with your peripherals, purchase the win10 copy from kinguin, you can hit that 1.9k mark.

The rest of the build will fit your red theme.

Personally I'd take the 6700K because it's less expensive and the performance difference is marginal.

Adding an NZXT Hue+ to this will put you under 1.9k and will add LED lighting to the rig. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZGhJ8K

Intel_man has a nice list setup but if you still want the same peripherals there's an option here

true yeah i cheap 20 dollar keybaord is amazing! XD

C4C i got your build or whatever down to 1.6K be making the prephreials lower

It's not even that. I understand why mech keyboards cost the way they cost... but Razers are "meh" in the mechanical keyboard world.

Interesting that people will spend several hundred on peripherals and then cheap out on mobo, cpu, psu..

Used a Logitech wireless bundle for the past two years and just this year got a cheap LED CM bundle. Works fine for $50 haha.. I say build up to nicer peripherals if you can hold off!

i made the keybaord the CM devastator

I have the CM Octane and though it's a little cheap, it works nicely and has adjustable DPI for the mouse, as well as 7 LED colors :P

Seems like you are in good hands here.

I just went through and merged a bunch of your posts, had 3 in a row at one point. Stick to editing previous posts if somebody else hasn't posted something since. Looks a lot cleaner and makes it easier to read. Thanks!
