That video card might be able to run Battlefield 2 on high, but with only 512 mbs of system RAM you're probably not gonig anywhere with it. Upgrade you system RAM to 1gig, get that video card, and yeah you could run it on high smoothly.

ya im gettin 1 more stick so i eill be able to play on HIGH settings? like really high

No. We tried it with that and runs smoothly on medium.
With 1GB and a AMD 64 3500+

You need at least 1GB to play in High setting (textures)

yea dont spend the money on an old top end card when a decent newer gen card will run better

yeah between the 6800 and 9800 pro go with the 6800 if $200 is your max.
