Will this RAM work on my comp?

I'm getting ready to upgrade this holiday season; I have a Compaq Presario SR2177CL Desktop PC . Ram speed is listed at PC2 4200, though I read a testimonial stating that a 4200 wouldn't work and he used 5300. Basically I'm asking if these Crucial 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800 UDIMM 240 pin would work given that they're on a bitchin sale at $35, an speakin of sales there's this Seagate Internal 3.5" 1TB Hard Drive for $90, another great sale; I don't know brands an whatnot. Is seagate any good? Am I just being a complete noob thinking these sales are great deals? I checked around and they seem to be good buys, but I wanted to ask the tech guys.

I'll definately go for those then. The Seagate I think I'll wait on as they're probly gonna have a killer Black Friday deal on a large internal hard drive or two.
