Will this run Arma 3 on max?

Monitor: Should I go 1080p or 1440p?

Yes it will. 1440p. OC the CPU to 4GHz.

+1 on 1440p. I just recently upgraded from a 1080p monitor and the difference is worth the money in my opinion.

My computer with an AMD FX-6300 processor and GTX 770 can max the settings at 1080p, I played a trial. So yes, and your computer could probably do 1440p also. Also my motherboard has the option to boost the clock speed, kind of an unofficial overclock. It boosts it from 3.5ghz to 3.8ghz. So maybe a careful overclock with proper cooling would be a good idea for 1440p as newer games are coming out that are even more demanding than Arma III. By the way it is an excellent game, but battlefield 4 is realistic enough for me. It's a little too realistic for my liking.
