my comp is at a repair place right now, and they're saying the cpu is bad

do you guys know how long the newegg waranty is? and if this item has it

newegg probably gives 30 days, but the OEM warrenty should be a year.

It'll work but make sure you choose your heatsinks carefully. Lack of heatspreader = chip is too low for many heatsinks

Quite possibly not compatible. The only major one (and its a good one too) that ive heard that works with the no-heatspreader A64s is the Thermalright SK90s

The warrenty at new egg from my experience is 30days for things other then the cpu. The cpu has 7-days to notify them if you need a repair or refund on it. Its a pretty simple process just go to My account on Newegg.com and click on Request RMA.
